Edgewood Matting is continually looking for new and innovative products and it is our goal to reduce our overall impact on the environment by incorporating as many green initiatives as possible. Many of our products are currently manufactured with some level of recycled content taken from both post-industrial as well as post consumer recycled material.

We are in the process of having one of our staff certified to become our in house LEED Certified Specialist. This dedication is a part of our ongoing commitment to a green friendly approach to the matting industry.

We at Edgewood Matting feel it is important to provide a positive influence on both our local and global communities.

Locally this is accomplished through our employees and local charities. We view our employees as assets to our business, to be respected and valued. It is our goal that each person within our organization reaches their full potential.

We also feel it is important to support local charities as well. This is accomplished both on a corporate level and a personal level. Corporately we have supported local community outreach programs which assist the less fortunate in our neighborhoods.

On a Global perspective Edgewood Matting corporately supports seven international children through Compassion Canada and have also supported World Vision. The sponsorship of international children is not just limited to the corporation but our employees actively support more than fifteen children worldwide.
